San Diego Trip

San Diego is a beautiful city located on the southern coast of California. With its warm weather, stunning beaches, and family-friendly attractions, San Diego is the perfect destination for a family vacation.

If you're planning a trip to San Diego with a 15-month-old toddler, here's a 4-day itinerary to help you make the most of your vacation.

Day 1: Arrival and Beach Time

After arriving in San Diego, spend the first day getting settled in and enjoying the beach. There are many beautiful beaches to choose from, but some of the best ones for families with young children are La Jolla Cove Beach, Coronado Beach, and Del Mar Beach. Spend the day building sandcastles, playing in the water, and soaking up the sun.

Day 2: San Diego Zoo and Balboa Park

On day two, head to the San Diego Zoo, which is home to more than 3,700 animals. The zoo is divided into different habitats, including the African Plains, the Asian Passage, and the Australian Outback. Take the Skyfari aerial tram to get a bird's-eye view of the zoo, and be sure to check out the Children's Zoo, which has a petting zoo and a playground.

After spending the morning at the zoo, head to nearby Balboa Park, which is home to 17 museums, gardens, and cultural attractions. The park also has plenty of open space for your toddler to run around and play.

Day 3: USS Midway Museum and Seaport Village

Start day three at the USS Midway Museum, which is a real aircraft carrier that was in service from 1945 to 1992. The museum has more than 60 exhibits, including restored aircraft, interactive displays, and a self-guided audio tour. Kids will love climbing in the planes and exploring the ship.

After the museum, head to Seaport Village, which is a waterfront shopping and dining complex. There are plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from, and the outdoor setting is perfect for families. Your toddler can run around and play on the grassy areas while you enjoy the scenery.

Day 4: Legoland California

On the final day of your San Diego vacation, head to Legoland California, which is located in nearby Carlsbad. Legoland is a theme park and aquarium that is geared toward families with young children. There are more than 60 rides, shows, and attractions, including a water park, a miniature Lego city, and a 4D movie theater. Your toddler will love the Duplo Playtown and the Splash Zoo.

San Diego is a wonderful destination for families with young children, and with this 4-day itinerary, you're sure to have a great time. From the beaches to the zoo to the theme parks, there's something for everyone in this beautiful city.
